Who can do this?

Only users with the Admin role can add or invite new users to Blify. Learn more about roles and permissions

Add users individually

Admins can add new users directly from the Users page.

Go to app.blify.co/admin/users
Click Add users in the top-right corner of the page.
In the Add users modal, fill in the following required information for each new user:

First name
Last name
Email
Role (Admin or Learner)
Default language (English or French)

Click Send invite to confirm and send the invitation.

| The email address must be unique. If a user already exists with this email, you’ll be prompted to update their role instead of creating a duplicate.

Add users in bulk (CSV import)

If you need to invite multiple users at once, you can upload a CSV file.

Go to app.blify.co/admin/users
Click Add users.
In the Add users modal, click Send bulk invites and Download CSV model.
Download our CSV template.
Fill in the following columns for each user:

First name
Last name
Email
Role
Default language

Upload your completed file by clicking on Upload CSV file and click Send invites.

Roles and permissions

Each member of your Blify workspace is assigned one of two roles. Roles determine what a user can see and do within the platform.

Admins

Admins have full control over the workspace configuration and Learning Agents. They can manage users, customize learning experiences, and connect contextual data sources.

Admins can:

Configure workspace settings
Create, update, or delete Learning Agents
Create, update, or delete sources of context
Add or deactivate users
Monitor learners’ progress
Manage languages and integrations

| We recommend having at least two Admins in your workspace, so you never lose access if one leaves the organization.

Learners

Learners are participants in the workspace. They can only access their own learning experiences and track their progress.

Learners can:

Access assigned Learning Agents directly in their messaging tool (Microsoft Teams, Slack, etc.)
View their progress
Interact with Blify’s AI Agent to practice, ask questions, and role-play

| Learners do not have access to workspace settings or the admin interface.

Blify is a learning & development app that integrates directly into your daily communication tools. To ensure your managers and teams can interact with Blify seamlessly within Microsoft Teams, a few configuration steps are required from your IT administrator.

This guide covers app permission policies, network whitelisting, and user provisioning.

1. Microsoft Teams App Policy (IT Admin)

Blify is available as a verified application on the Microsoft Teams Store. However, depending on your organization's security posture, end-users may not be able to install third-party apps by default.

| Action Required: The Microsoft 365 / Teams Administrator must authorize the Blify app for the target users.

Option A: Direct Installation (No Admin Action Required) In many organizations, access to Microsoft-verified third-party apps is open by default.

The Test: Ask a user (or yourself) to open the "Apps" tab in Teams, search for "Blify," and click "Add."
Result: If the app opens and the chat starts, no action is required from your IT department regarding access.

If installation is blocked or requests approval, proceed to Option B or C below.

Option B: Global Rollout (Recommended for ease)

Go to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
Navigate to Teams apps > Manage apps.

Blify is a Microsoft-verified application that integrates directly into Microsoft Teams, which means your IT administrator needs to authorize it for your users, the same way they would for any other third-party Teams app. This guide walks you through three steps: finding the right person, sending them the right message, and anticipating their review questions.

1. Identify the right person in your organization

The job title varies by company size and structure, so search your internal directory (Teams people search, Outlook, Workday, ServiceNow) using the keywords below.

Change, update, reset: what are we talking about?

On Blify, there is only one way to get a new password, and it always starts from the login screen. Whether you have forgotten your password or simply want to change it, the steps are the same: the ones described in the next section.

Two things to keep in mind:

Passwords only apply to the web app. On Microsoft Teams and Slack, there is no login: the Blify app is installed there and directly available
The process is identical for every role. Learners and Admins go through the same screen, at app.blify.co/login

This article explains how to access Blify depending on your profile: first login, Learner access, and Admin access. Key point: logging in with credentials only applies to the web app (blify.co). On Microsoft Teams and Slack, there is no login, the app is installed there and directly available: installation is covered in dedicated articles.

1. First login: activate your account

Whether you are a Learner or an Admin, your first login to the web app follows the same principle: your account was created by your organization, and all that is left is to activate it. There are two scenarios, depending on whether or not you received the invitation email.

You received the invitation email from Blify

The email is sent to the work email address provided by your organization.

Click the activation link contained in that email
Set your password. It must be at least 14 characters long, in line with Blify's security requirements (SOC 2 Type II certified)
You are logged in and land on your home page: your Learning Agent chat if you are a Learner, the admin space if you are an Admin
