Log in to Blify

This article explains how to access Blify depending on your profile: first login, Learner access, and Admin access. Key point: logging in with credentials only applies to the web app (blify.co). On Microsoft Teams and Slack, there is no login, the app is installed there and directly available: installation is covered in dedicated articles.

This article therefore covers 3 cases:

  1. First login: activating your account
  2. Logging in as a Learner (User)
  3. Logging in as an Admin

1. First login: activate your account

Whether you are a Learner or an Admin, your first login to the web app follows the same principle: your account was created by your organization, and all that is left is to activate it. There are two scenarios, depending on whether or not you received the invitation email.

You received the invitation email from Blify

The email is sent to the work email address provided by your organization.

  1. Click the activation link contained in that email
  2. Set your password. It must be at least 14 characters long, in line with Blify's security requirements (SOC 2 Type II certified)
  3. You are logged in and land on your home page: your Learning Agent chat if you are a Learner, the admin space if you are an Admin

The activation link is valid for 24 hours. After that, follow the "You did not receive the invitation email" steps below to generate a new one.

You did not receive the invitation email

No need to worry, you can activate your account directly from the login page.

  1. Go to app.blify.co/login
  2. If Microsoft or Google authentication has been enabled for your organization, click "Continue with Microsoft" or "Continue with Google": your account is activated automatically, with no password to set. Otherwise, enter your work email and click the "First login?" button. You then receive a first login email at the address you entered
  3. Click the link contained in that email
  4. Set your password (14 characters minimum)
  5. You are logged in and land on your home page: your Learning Agent chat or the admin space, depending on your profile

Did not receive the invitation email? Check your spam folder, then reach out to your Blify Admin. Has the activation link expired? Use the "Forgot password" function on app.blify.co/login to receive a new one.

2. Logging in as a Learner

As a Learner, you access Blify in 2 ways, depending on where your organization has deployed the tool.

On Microsoft Teams or Slack

There is no login step. If your organization has installed Blify in your Teams or Slack workspace, the app is simply available and accessible: just open the Blify app to start talking with your Learning Agents.

Sending a message to Blify and getting no reply, or a generic one? That is expected: no Learning Agent has been assigned to you yet. It does not call the installation into question, the app is in place and working. As soon as your organization assigns you an agent, the conversation will start automatically. If the situation persists, reach out to your Admin.

Only one case takes you to the web app: role-plays. When a role-play exercise is offered to you, Blify sends you a personalized link (magic link) that signs you in automatically, with no credentials to type. You land straight on the role-play page.

💡 Good to know: this link is valid for 24 hours. If it has expired, you are redirected to the app.blify.co login page. Once signed in, you go straight back to your role-play.

Cannot find Blify in your Teams or your Slack? See the dedicated installation article.

On the web app

This is the only environment where you sign in with your credentials.

  • Go to app.blify.co/login
  • Log in with your credentials (first login? See section 1 above)
  • Once logged in, your home page depends on your situation:
  • if you are enrolled in a Learning Agent, you land directly on that agent's chat;
  • if you are not enrolled in any Learning Agent, you land on a page showing your agent history
  • The chat is responsive: you can use it on desktop as well as on mobile

3. Logging in as an Admin

Blify's admin space exists only on the web app. There is no admin space on Microsoft Teams or on Slack.

  • Go to app.blify.co/admin
  • Log in with your Admin credentials (first login? See section 1 above)
  • You then reach the admin space, which includes:
  • the main home page;
  • the Learning Agents page;
  • the Users management page;
  • the settings page for your organization's Blify workspace

All Blify management and monitoring (agents, metrics, users) happens from this web admin space.

Note: installing Blify on Microsoft Teams or Slack

Giving access to Blify in Teams or Slack is not a matter of logging in but of installing the app through the catalogs of these workplace messaging tools. That is a separate topic, covered in dedicated articles:

  • on the Admin side: getting the right permissions from your IT department;
  • on the Learner side: installing or opening the Blify app in Teams or Slack.
